With the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and a host of other factors causing economic turmoil and bringing about fears of recession in many countries, I thought it would be interesting to visualize inflation by country. The reason the green only accounts for inflation less than ~2.5% is because that is around where inflation usually is for developed countries. Clearly, almost all countries are above that point. I think its interesting to see how China and Japan are not facing much nearly as much inflation. Obviously, China has less tension with Russia and so may not be feeling the effects of losing Russia as a supplier of energy like the West is, yet it's inflation is still above normal.
